Short and Sweet

Temperatures dropped following a recent hot couple of days. Knowing July is bearing down, we got our act together and took a short overnighter with Little Bird. Her Spring visit to the boatyard provided a clean hull and we slid across Mobjack Bay reaching in light wind with the 135% genoa, a perfect answer to keep LB moving. Our hour and a half trip was pleasant in the shade of the sails. Half way up the Severn River, we anchored for a cool swim, cold drinks and a crisp salad dinner. The gentle breeze kept the bugs away through the night.

Morning was a whisper. Breakfast of coffee, eggs, sausage and toast was enjoyed. Time always slows on the water. Restored, the close reach home was a delight before the late afternoon storms set in.

For this short clip I used iMovie which was a struggle to get reacquainted with. A bit limited for editing I believe, but otherwise was quick and clean.
